A Setting for Serious Work

Hwinzo hosts retreats, trainings, and gatherings for people working at the intersection of healing, creativity, leadership, and social change.

This has included CMBM Professional Training and Advanced Training programs for participants from Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Sudan, and the DRC, bringing together civil society leaders, health workers, journalists, educators, artists, and community organizers. This cohort of 26 trainees forms the core of the CMBM Africa program.

These gatherings create space for evidence-based mind-body skills training, reflection, and connection in a setting that matches the seriousness — and the possibility — of the work.
